Internetrix is proud to announce another new client, Tim Cope, a man of significant international profile and experience, so much so he was named one of the Top 25 Athletes in the World by Outside Magazine 2002.

But who is he?

Tim is from Gippsland, Victoria, and has undertaken an amazing number of feats of daring and adventure in his young life. At age 24, Tim has already:

  • Trained as a wilderness guide in the Arctic region of Russia and Finland, including a solo 12 day hike through the Arctic Lapland, the first Australian to be accepted into this high-demand course.

  • Ridden a recumbent bike 10,000km for 14 months across Russia, Siberia, Mongolia and China, including through China?fs Gobi desert, coping with frostbite and pushing their bikes and all their gear for 1000kms along a remote Siberian railway.

  • Been part of a world first rowing expedition down the Yensiey River, Sibera, the 5th largest river in the world for 24 hours a day for 3 months all the way to the Arctic Ocean.
  • His book, "Off the Rails" is being launched on Monday, the 31st of March, and Internetrix has been commissioned to develop Tim's Website to act as a diary for his upcoming adventure, embarking on a journey around the Arctic circle, as well as providing a simple place for people to buy Tim's Book and DVD, the subject of a documentary screened on the ABC last year, "On the Back Roads to Beijing" (National Geographic).

A story of perseverance, passion and belief, it is also an intimate look at the lives of the people and the amazing landscapes of the largely unknown and isolated lands of Siberia and Mongolia.

We look forward to bringing you news of Tim's Website launch and adventures into the future; check out in the mean time to find out more.
