Tourism Shellharbour, one of our first clients, has recently launched their new and improved website directory of tourism providers. Shellharbour is nestled in the heart of the Illawarra holiday playground between the bustling City of Wollongong in the north and picturesque Kiama in the south. Tourism in Shellharbour is diverse, taking advantage of the spectacular escarpment and rural settings a short drive from the beautiful coastline of the Pacific. Tourism Shellharbour required a directory-based feature to be the core of their website to showcase this diversity. Using broad categories, and different levels of membership to prioritise listings, the directory is searchable and support member-profiles in the site, which members can even maintain themselves.

World Expeditions Newsletter
World Expeditions is an adventure tour and travel company with offices around the world and expeditions to every continent on earth. Understandably, with a heritage that includes being the first Australian company to operate treks in the Himalayas, World Expeditions have a significant email database of previous travelers and attendees to their renowned "slide nights", and were looking for a new way to keep in touch. The Internetrix Newsletter System proved to be the ideal tool, and with its ability to support full import/export functionality, was the ideal way to clean and expand their 8000 strong list in an internationally privacy compliant manner.
If you are interested in finding out more about World Expeditions, visit their soon-to-be updated website, www.worldexpeditions.com.au, or call Donna on 02 9279 0188.
SportsLive is an initiative of WollongongOnline, a regionally focused information portal. To give something back to the community, SportsLive was created, a lightweight, flexible and easy to administer system for junior and amateur sport. Building on the success of the junior cricket competition's online results and communication system, SportsLive is a website that allows players and parents alike to log in and see how they are ranking in competitions, preview draws and even news updates, all online. Administered by sports clubs directly through an administrative system built by Internetrix, this is a great example of e-business technology helping the community.
Check them out now @ www.sportslive.com.au, or contact Colin Seaborn on 02 4229 6733 if you want to know how your sport can get involved.
Stand by for an exciting list next month, as our labs run hot following the quieter period following the Christmas break.
