Internetrix received the award at a gala presentation evening for the Momentum Energy 2015 Illawarra Business Awards at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre on 23 October.
Internetrix's very own Head of Data Science, Dean Marchiori, has been ranked among Australia'a Top 25 Leaders in Digital Analytics at the Institute of Analytics Professionals of Australia (IAPA) Awards.
Dean received his award last week at the IAPA's event at Westpac's corporate offices in Sydney.
Dean was selected for the award thanks to the innovative projects he has completed this year for Internetrix internally and with some of our biggest clients. He was also recognised for the data relationships he has helped form with organisations such as the UOW SMART Facility, with who he has worked closely in the development of anomaly detection algorithmic research.
Ranked eight among the Top 25, Dean was called on stage with leaders from some of Australia's biggest organisations including Suncorp, QBE Insurance, and THE ICONIC.

As an organisation, Internetrix are extremely proud of Dean and his fantastic work. This award highlights that Internetrix's data analytics and data science capabilities really are "industry-leading". Not bad for what started as a local Wollongong website company.
