Freestyle's Google Analytics module provides the
functionality to create advertising and marketing campaigns, and ensure that
the outcomes of these campaigns are tracked using Google Analytics. Campaigns,
actions, rules and conditions can be set using the Freestyle interface, and
consequently the details are captured in the appropriate Analytics account. The
main components within this module are graphically demonstrated in the
screenshots below.
The following image displays the interface used to create a
new campaign in Freestyle.
The screenshot below highlights the campaign view screen,
which will allow you to create a new campaign action, which is essentially a
phase or activity that is carried out as part of the campaign.
Campaign rules and conditions can be specified (refer to the
screenshot below), allowing you to define the type of data that will be
collected.
Once campaigns, actions, rules and conditions have been
created in Freestyle, the associated statistics are collected when the
conditions for a particular rule have been met. The data can accessed in the
relevant Google Analytics account; the interface used to access campaign
details is provided.
The ultimate aim of this module is to enable your marketing
team to analyse the effectiveness of your various online and offline
initiatives.
