Busy. Busy. What’s new really? Amidst the chaos, some exciting things are taking place at Internetrix and in the online world.
Earlier this month, you may have heard about AOL
releasing some search history from its search engine. The implications
are staggering from both the journalistic and privacy perspectives.
Check out “Big Brother” for more about the AOL bungle, and “Citizen Journalism” to see how the story broke.
On
the Internetrix home front, we’re thrilled to have launched a new
website for the Department of Planning, which details the planned
rejuvenation of the Wollongong City Centre and its surrounding areas.
The
August Staff Profile details Eamonn Bell, one of our stellar
Interactive Designers. In other news, Internetrix is hiring! We have an opening for an Office
Administrator so if you or anyone you know might be interested, be sure
to check out the details later in this edition.
Finally, for a bit of fun, we've got a feature called "Pimp My Desktop" this month. If you're sick of stayed screensavers or the boring wallpaper you get with your operating system, check out some of our tips.
Hope you enjoy the August issue of the Internetrix e-newsletter!
