November 2004

Welcome to another edition of Internetrix news. Some of our more astute readers will notice that we’ve got this newsletter out a little earlier than usual – that’s because this month, we’re moving office, and we wanted to make sure we had this newsletter off our otherwise crowded to-do list!

This edition is jam-packed with information, and knowing you’re all busy, we’ve kept each story brief to allow you to get through it all in just a few minutes. Aside from some more details above the move, we’ve also got a special invitation to an e-commerce workshop that we’ve been invited to present at – it’s being held on December 2nd, and for more information, check out the story and our website. We’re also excited to announce a new Affinity implementation for the Centre for TPM.

Since our last newsletter, we had the pleasure of hosting a visiting Chinese trade delegation to discuss how they can take advantage of internet applications in their booming economy, particularly in the fields of science and technology research. Finally, we’ve got an article about crime and the internet – chalk up a big month for the good guys with spammers, scammers and thieves all being sentenced to hefty jail time.

Hope you enjoy this edition, and feel free to forward it to your friends and colleagues.
