Welcome to another edition of Internetrix news.
A lot has happened since our March newsletter less than a month ago!
The War in Iraq has come and gone, Internetrix has deployed a whole new server (think moving office and then multiply the effort by 10). Throw into the mix the fact Internetrix features in Sky News Business Report airing tonight, and it is clear to see what a whirlwind the month has been.
Aside from all those exciting stories in this edition, we also have the second in our regular feature “Pushing the Envelope”. This month Daniel Rowan, our operations manager and self confessed news junkie examines the impact of the internet on the way we got our news on the War in Iraq, the first major conflict since the widespread adoption of the World Wide Web.
On a personal note, Michael Jaques, our Business Development Manager celebrated his birthday last Friday – if you want to pass on your congratulations on getting another year closer to 40, drop him an email at michael.jaques@internetrix.com.au.
Finally, we have an important tip for anyone concerned about their computer security – our broadband internet connection gets hacking attempts at least twice every minute of the day – your home or office connection is likely to be getting the same treatment.
