In what has become a regular fixture in our newsletters, we again this month have some more examples of businesses leading the way with their use of the internet, with the support and enablement of Internetrix.

IRIS – the Illawarra Regional Information Service (IRIS) is the Illawarra region’s version of the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Compiling a broad range of statistics and presenting these through reports, IRIS is a key resource for government, businesses and residents in the Illawarra Region. A challenge faced by IRIS is how to provide information in a fast and effective manner to subscribers, who have different levels of membership. The solution was the Internetrix Content Management System (CMS) along with a restricted-access file system and customer database, allowing for customers to log in to the site to access certain files, and for IRIS staff to alert customers with access permissions to log in and download the information.

Peedoms – Peedoms solicitors were one of our first customers, and they have been using a fairly static website to represent their company over the last few years. Staffing changes, extra service areas and the never-ending flow of new information and knowledge in the legal field has stretched the functionality of a traditional, static website.
