Internetrix has been leading the way in the development of internet solutions to business problems. For this reason, we are delighted to announce that we have won the prestigious Small Business Innovation Award in the recent finals of the Australian Institute of Professional Communicators.

The award, specifically, was for our new accounts system which addresses an issue close to the hearts of all businesses - how to manage outstanding debts. Our solution to this issue, first instituted in June, was based on the need to enhance the quality and urgency of our communication with our valued clients for whom we have undertaken work.

One of the main issues we were hearing from clients was that our use of email invoices, while convenient and environmentally friendly, sometimes lead to invoices being misplaced. Also, some accounts departments are slow to update their processes to this new method of invoicing. What our clients needed was both a reminder of overdue accounts and a comprehensive statement of invoices and payments.

As a solution, we instituted our award winning accounts system, which emails a statement to all clients at the beginning of the month, as well as SMS'ing directly the account contact for any debts that are over by greater than 30 days.

The results and responses from our clients were outstanding, and commencing this process near the end of the financial year was a real advantage for many of you finalising your books.
